I got you covered.

As the Head Copywriter for Infinite Pet Life, a dog supplement brand in the Bay Area, CA, I was in charge of all email marketing campaigns and automations.

The problem:
Sales had decreased dramatically before I took over. A year prior, inventory wasn’t tracked properly and there wasn’t enough supplements available for customers to purchase. Email marketing stopped, as did Infinite Pet Life’s relationship with those customers.

The solution:
Within my first six months on the job, I generated $14,000 in sales from email marketing alone. 
I accomplished this by partnering with pet influencers who told their own personal stories about how our products improved their pet’s life. I also created automated post-purchase emails, like the ones you see below, to nurture that relationship with customers after the sale.

Objective:
Increase reviews on Amazon for new product line.

My role:
I re-targeted customers who clicked the Amazon promo link in my previous campaign. I designed this image in Canva and wrote the email using Klaviyo.

I made the email playful and fun to encourage customer engagement.

Outcome:

Gained over 20 customer reviews.

Objective:
Promote Black Friday BOGO Free.

My role:
I created a 2-week email series for Black Friday, using a live countdown clock to push customers to purchase. I designed this image using Canva and wrote the email copy in Klaviyo.

As the Product Manager, I also set up the promotion in Shopify and designed a website banner for our homepage. 

Outcome:

700% jump in sales from previous month!

Objective:
Increase customer retention with personalized thank you emails.

My role:
I set up an email flow to automatically send thank you emails every time a customer buys product.

I included code that auto-populates their first name and I wrote the dog pun to help customers bond with the brand, the same way they bond with their pup.

Subject Lines:
“Thank you for choosing Infinite Pet Life!” / “Wow, thanks again!” / “Subscribe and Save Money!”

Outcome:

5% increase in Open Rates.

Objective:
Encourage reviews on Trustpilot.

My role:
I set up an email flow to automatically send customers a reminder to review our products on Trustpilot.

Supplements take at least 30 days to show improvement, so I made emails send every 20, 25, and 30 days after purchase.

I also designed the background paw print art using Canva.

Subject lines: 
“Have lots to woof about?” / “We’d love your feedback!” / “Review us on Trustpilot!”

Outcome:

4.5 rating on Trustpilot.

Objective:
Perform A/B test for new Hip & Joint Powder Campaign.

My role:
To test subject line preference, versions A & B had the same content, but different subject lines. 
#1: Senior dogs rejoice! Our New Hip & Joint supplement is here!
#2: Dog improves joints by licking peanut butter? [WINNER]

Outcome:

Curiosity subject lines showed a 1% increase in Open Rates.

B2B SaaS Email Copy

I marketed Nomadic Learning’s and Josh Bersin Academy’s digital learning platforms to Fortune 500 companies by positioning them as thought leaders in the fields of Learning and Development (L&D) and Human Resources (HR).

I wrote weekly newsletters on HR and L&D content to nurture prospects, created a welcome drip email series to gain sales leads, and  A/B tested promotional emails using HubSpot.
